If you want to bring out the depth of your motif, you should choose a glossy surface. Our arcylic print and gallery print are perfect for lively and colourful photos, as well as landscape and underwater photography.

Static mofits like buildings or sights look best printed on a matt surface. This means our aluminium print or forex print are most suitable for architecture or black and white photography.

Materials with a glossy surface could be reflective, which means you should pay attention the lighting. If you would like to hang your Pixum wall art in a spot with direct sunlight, materials with a matt surface are better suitable. You can choose between aluminium prints, forex prints, canvas prints or a wood prints.

When hanging your Pixum wall art on a wall that is not fully sturdy (e.g. plasterboard), weight needs to be considered. For this it is best to choose a very lightweight material like our canvas print, photo poster, forex print or our Pixum squares.

For protected outside areas, aluminium prints, acrylic prints or gallery prints are perfect.

There are several options to hang your wall art depending on the chosen material. Lightweight prints, like the canvas print or the photo poster, can be easily hung with some nails. For the acrylic print we recommend using the clamping system.

For the heavy materials, like the gallery print or the aluminium print, the invisible railing system is most suitable. All information on our wall mounting kits (railing system, clamping system or screw system) can be found in the online editor.

When using our online editor, if the picture file is too small, there will be a red excalamation mark or triangle directly on the photo indicating low resolution.

Please note that during production, each picture will need to be trimmed ca. 6-10 mm all around the edges to guarantee a rimmless print for your wall art.

When choosing a panoramic format, these trimmings will be even larger along the short sides.
